I like to paint the fluid line of humanity; to wrestle it with big, swirling strokes and then caress, etch and chivvy in the detail. My work celebrates the human role, relying on the language of the body:- we are players of a surpassing excellence, skilled at masquerade and revelling in carnival.

Paint is my 'mother tongue'. My brush speaks on my behalf: it is my narrative tool, fluent and subtle in the intricacies of form and colour. My complex images range through fairy tale, theatre and dreams: entertaining, delighting or shocking, but with talent and hard won skill: no splodges of paint, unmade beds or half-baked sheep.

In two distinct styles, one illustrative, the other more 'painterly', I process you through my brush and act out my own life on canvas.
